justin vernon is, at times, a tough case with me. following him on Twitter is a terrible decision. watching his interviews is goofy. the Kanye associations and having friends that listen to him and Ke$ha in the same sitting is detrimental. but when i consider just Bon Iver in and of itself, it’s undeniably genius. the albums are brilliant. there’s no question or fault as to their golden earnings on beyond-reputable top-of-the-year lists. and arrangements like this…gracious sakes.
